Advisory regarding use of Satellite phone by foreign nationals

ADVISORY
All Foreign nationals (holding any kind of passport) are advised NOT to carry / use Satellite phones in India without prior approval of Government of India.
Section 6 of the Indian Wireless Act and Section 20 of Indian Telegraph Act makes its carriage or use illegal and unauthorized.
