As part of celebrations of  Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Consulate General of India in Birgunj organized the Nineteen "Open House for Consular Grievances" in the premises of the Consulate on Aug.26, 2023. The purpose of the event was to redress non-routine consular grievances of aggrieved Indian nationals living in Nepal.

2. Indians working in Naryayani Ispat Pvt. Ltd., RMC Food & metal Pvt. Ltd. Jeetpur;  Miraj hotel, Himalayan Distillery Ltd. Ideal Academy Pvt. Ltd. Birgunj-02;  District Parsa  got their grievances concerned with registration & renewal of registration as well as grievances regarding seizures case of one Indian vehicle etc. with Consulate redressed. The next Open Consular House will be held on last Saturday of next month on 30th Sept. 2023. The Consulate appeals to the Indian citizens living in the districts of Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha, Mawanpur and Chitwan to get themselves registered with the Consulate at the earliest. They can also approach us for availing any other Consular Service and redressal of grievances.

आजादी का अमृत अन्तर्गत , भारतको महावाणिज्य दूतावास, बीरगंज द्वारा अगस्ट २६, २०२३ मा वाणिज्य दूतावासको प्रांगणमा १९औं "ओपन हाउस फर कन्सुलर गुनासो" आयोजना गरियो। कार्यक्रमको उद्देश्य नेपालमा बस्ने पीडित भारतीय नागरिकहरूको नियमित कन्सुलर गुनासोहरू बाहेकको समस्याहरूको समाधान गर्नु थियो।  ।

नारायणी इस्पात प्रा.  लिमिटेड, आरएमसी फूड एण्ड मेटल प्रा.  लिमिटेड जीतपुर;  मिराज होटल, हिमालयन डिस्टिलरी लिमिटेड आइडियल एकेडेमी प्रा.  लिमिटेड वीरगन्ज-०२;  जिल्ला पर्सामा काम गर्ने भारतीयहरूले आफ्नो दर्ता र दर्ता नवीकरण तथा एउटा भारतीय गाडी जफत भएको घटना लगायतका गुनासो वाणिज्य दूतावास द्वारा समाधान गराएका छन् ।  अर्को ओपन कन्सुलर हाउस आउँदो महिनाको अन्तिम शनिबार ३० सेप्टेम्बर २०२३ मा हुने आयोजना गरिने छ। वाणिज्य दूतावास पर्सा, बारा, रौतहट, सर्लाही, महोत्तरी, धनुषा, मकवानपुर र चितवन जिल्लामा बसोबास गर्ने भारतीय नागरिकलाई चाँडो भन्दा चाँडो वाणिज्य दूतावासमा स्वयम् दर्ता गराउन अनुरोध गर्दछ।   तिनीहरूले हामीलाई अन्य कुनै पनि कन्सुलर सेवाहरू प्राप्त गर्न र गुनासोहरूको समाधानको लागि पनि सम्पर्क गर्न सक्दछन्।
